I took my friends here for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely awesome. The food, the atmosphere, the staff. Just keep in mind that the place is very popular and it's getting full right after the opening. Pasta were awesome, lasagna and parmigiana as well but beware of leaving the sauce on your plate! The staff is saying you should mandatory clean it with bread Tiramisu was a perfect finish. I highly recommend it!
It's like visiting your aunt and uncle, very personal service, a bit quirky, but in a cosy, friendly way.I was a bit early, so aunt and uncle weren't really ready and the appetizer was partly cold, but still tasty. The main course was really delicious. And as the credit card terminal was out of power, I got an additional glass of wine, to cover the time Overall a very pleasant, personal experience. If you expect perfection on all levels, don't come, if you want to have a great experience of Italian hospitality, you'll enjoy it.
We were craving some risotto and this place came highly recommended. The interior is pretty small and at the time, they didn't have any tables out front - although we were told they had some other "outside tables" in the back, if you ask. We were able to get an inside table for the 2 of us in about 30 minutes and we were not disappointed. The only thing is that 2 people have to commit to sharing the risotto as their kitchen is so tiny. We had the safron and mushroom risotto and it was creamy and so full of flavor - just like you'd expect. The service, although they were very busy up until closing, was very kind and helpful and they even have a little piano inside if you happen to catch someone playing. Definitely worth the wait!
Amazing small family owned restaurant. Every thing is fresh, made to order with great flavour. If you are looking for something off the beaten path - try this cozy hidden gem.
Cozy little restaurant with additional tables in the alleyway. Service was nice and friendly. The food was great as well. We tried: duck ragout pasta, sardine pasta, meat and cheese board, gnocchi, cichetti items like the cod with polenta, small octopus and cod with mozarella. The pasta is all made in house. The gnocchi was the best I've had as it was chewy and soft and very delicious!
One of the best places I have ever been to!! Food is great and the staff is super friendly. I had the lemon pasta and it was mind blowing!! The restaurant itself is decorated in a very cozy way. Highly recommended!!
We went here for lunch on a weekday and it was the best meal of our Italy trip! The owner offered to make us pesto gnocchi because we wanted a vegetarian gnocchi option that wasn’t truffle based. The prices are affordable, the drinks are amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cosy with a massive bookshelf. The food is prepared right in front of you, our entire experience was akin to having a comfortable home cooked meal which maxes our heart happy!!
Fabulous food and charming, attentive service. Nice wine selection. Piano accompaniment was a delightful surprise. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Will definitely return and recommend highly!
